Will close deals, drive tenders, and develop market intelligence to optimize procurement strategies, ensuring Banyan\u202fNation secures high-quality materials under favorable commercial terms and industry compliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strategic PCR\/PIR plastic material Sourcing &amp; Category Management \u2013 Develop and execute sourcing roadmaps for industrial PCR\/PIR plastic material across multiple sectors. Segment supplier categories, forecast requirements and diversify supply base for resilience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tender Management &amp; RFx Execution \u2013 Prepare and manage RFIs, RFQs, RFPs. Coordinate end-to-end bidding: document preparation, market release, evaluation, negotiation and contract-award processes. Ensure transparency, compliance and competitive margin realization.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Commercial Negotiation &amp; Deal Closure \u2013 Engage with suppliers\u2014industrials, recyclers and sourcing partners\u2014to negotiate PCR\/PIR plastic material price, terms, ratings, logistics, and payment clauses. Ensure approval of commercial contracts that align with our organization. Category-level P&amp;L accountability &#8211; driving sourcing strategies that deliver commercial performance in line with Banyan Nation&#8217;s financial and sustainability goals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Market Intelligence &amp; Price Benchmarking \u2013 Continuously gather data on PCR\/PIR plastic material price movements, sector-specific benchmarks, global supply-demand trends. Share intelligence to guide sourcing strategy and risk mitigation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supplier &amp; Stakeholder Management \u2013 Build strong relationships with Recyclable resource networks, Sourcing Partners, and institutional buyers. Liaise internally with operations, quality, legal, logistics, and finance teams to drive alignment and execution.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contract Performance &amp; Risk Management \u2013 Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery timelines, Exception Management &amp; Dispute Resolution). Implement corrective actions. Manage tender compliance, supplier audits, and mitigation of supply chain disruptions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bid Evaluation &amp; Cost Analysis \u2013 Support bid committees with comprehensive evaluation: technical comparisons, price scoring, total cost-of-ownership assessments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct supplier due diligence to ensure ethical sourcing practices, compliance with environmental norms, and adherence to anti-bribery standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be eager to use BN digital tools to drive transparency, track procurement KPIs, and enable data-driven decisions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Continuously optimize landed cost of RM by balancing price, logistics, payment terms &amp; working capital projections.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work closely with QC and Production teams to ensure sourced material meets Banyan Nation\u2019s stringent quality, impurity, and processing standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qualifications &amp; Experience:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Any bachelor\u2019s degree (preferred business administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3\u20136 years in commercial sourcing, procurement, or supply chain\u2014preferably in PCR\/PIR plastic materials or industrial recycling.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preferred Skills &amp; Knowledge:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Industry Knowledge: Exposure to pharma, FMCG, retail, beverages, automotive, paper &amp; stationery recyclable material streams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tender Expertise: Proven ability to manage full tender cycles. Should have strong knowledge and hands-on experience in tender management, including preparation, submission, and execution of tenders across sectors like pharma, FMCG, retail, beverage, automobile, and public sector enterprises. Must be capable of independently managing end-to-end tendering processes, ensuring compliance and competitiveness.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>EPR: Must have sound understanding of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) frameworks and compliance requirements related to PCR\/PIR plastic management.
